Boris LB Releases First Single “Let It Be”

Friday, June 4th, 2010

“Let It Be” is the first single from the soon to be released project “ I AM” featuring Boris LB. I sat down recently with Boris to gather his thoughts on the project and to understand the deep motivation and inspiration that has fueled the development of this extraordinary musical talent.

In The Words Of Boris Britt:

“As I sit here with you and think of the wonderful and magnificent things that my eyes have seen and my ears have heard, I am humbled but nothing can compare with this very moment with God and my true nature, Spirit. I sit in awe and amazement that God is Love and so am I. God is Peace and so am I. God is All Power and I am one with that Power. I cannot hide from this Presence for when my physical body sleeps… I AM. When breath no longer flows through my lungs…I AM. When others seem to be separate from me in illusion…I AM. When nothing seems to make sense…. I AM. From this place of… I AM emerges a creative power and energy that is in every one of us. It waits to be expressed in all of its glory and light. From this place of Peace, Power, Love, and Perfect Substance explodes these words in song than can only point to the reality of all that God is and who we truly are, however, these words, thoughts, and expressions could never perfectly reveal this divine beauty in all of us. I write and sing from this place of Presence and Being, knowing that my worth and identity is not defined by my voice, talents, or words but by Divine Spirit. For so long I have sought the approval, praise, acceptance, and love of those whom I thought could give worth and a feeling of belonging. Now…today, I am accepted in God’s beloved arms and approved, cherished, and celebrated in ways that no human can fathom. I rest in this peace and share my heart with the world in this form of musical expression. I propel forward where there is no time, no lack, no limits, and no shame. Listen now in this place of Spirit that is within you…the Heaven that is within you now and embrace with me THE I AM THAT I AM… (YOU).”

Nuff said…

Atta Boy, Michael…You Had The Last Dance (And Laugh)

Thursday, June 25th, 2009

By — Kenny Love, CEO The KELGroup

Michael Jackson, the long-standing, pardon the phrase, ”butt boy” of the media, had both the last dance and last laugh today with his untimely passing.  The surprise element is that few, if any, knew that Michael may have been having alleged heart complications as has been reported.

After an incredible long-standing and vibrant music career, in recent years, Michael had been the unfortunate joke of the media/paparazzi, which appeared to take great delight with Michael’s misfortune of late by selecting every opportunity to attribute its coined phrase, “Jacko,” to the master celebrity.

Personally, the only issue I had with Michael was his obvious inability to understand that certain situations in society are both unforgivable by the public at large, despite their purportedness of innocence.

I am speaking of Michael’s age and his controversial long-term association with children and, minors specifically, that seemed to cast a constant dark shadow over his life in recent years and blotting out most of his career accolades.

Since I was not afforded first-hand knowledge regarding the situation, as I never have, I shall not at this appointed time elect to serve as judge, jury, nor executioner of Michael Jackson.

And, though his untimely death is, indeed, surprising, perhaps he may finally discover the peace and tranquility in his now totally spiritual life that so evaded him in the physical.

Is There Any Hope For The Unsigned Artist ???

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009

As an independent musician and recording artist, NO one knows better than you how it really goes…

You spend months, maybe even a couple of years, writing and producing the most incredible music you ever have, then getting it manufactured on CD for sale.

The first time you see the finished CD, it looks incredible and you think of all the radio stations that will play it…all the print newspapers that will want to interview you as an artist and review your music…and, most importantly, all of the possible sales as a result of people hearing your music, seeing, hearing, or reading your interviews, or reading reviews about your music in their favorite local newspapers and music magazines.

You consider using the do-it-yourself approach to make it all happen, and to save yourself both time and money, but doubt (and maybe, even fear) starts to set in as you quickly realize what a big job it is going to be, just in your own local or regional area.

And, since promoting and publicizing your music on your own in your own local and regional areas is already becoming challenging, you also soon come to realize that you can probably never make enough people know about your music on a worldwide/international level by doing it all alone and on your own.

So, logic tells you that if you are going to make your music known around the world and internationally, you are going to need some major help.

And, you are going to need to get the help of an experienced professional promoter or publicist who already does it fulltime, who knows all the inside tricks of the trade, and who has all the connections to make it happen successfully that you don’t have.

So, having come to this conclusion, you begin to seek out and contact promoters and publicists.

Then, the nightmare really begins…

Depression starts to set in with your truly feeling alone and helpless with the actual cost of promotion and publicity as you realize that the high-dollar, expensive rates and fees that the promoters and publicists are quoting you could operate a small country.  And, you realize immediately and instantly that you cannot possibly afford these rates.

So, at this point, the fear of, possibly, never being able to get your music out at a competitive level starts to hammer and eat away at you.  In fact, you may start to wonder if you will even be able to make back your costs and expenses of your production.

With not having the time, energy, or money to promote and publicize your music on your own, or having the money to afford to pay professional promoters and publicists, what can you possibly do?

Do you simply let all of your hard work, time, and effort collect dust in your closet or on your shelf? Or worse, do you start to give away your music as simply promotional pieces?  After all, this wasn’t what you had in mind or ever intended, was it?

Well, is there any hope for the unsigned artist?  For answers, please <click here>

EARTASTIC RECORDS AND THE KEL GROUP CREATE POWERFUL ALLIANCE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

EARTASTIC RECORDS AND THE KEL GROUP CREATE POWERFUL ALLIANCE FOR INDEPENDENT/UNSIGNED RECORDING ARTISTS

HOUSTON, Texas – - June 23, 2009 – - Eartastic Records and The KEL Group have recently created a powerful alliance for independent and unsigned recording artists.

Headed by Clyde Toval (CEO, Eartastic Records) and Kenny Love (CEO, The KEL Group), respectively, this joint venture allows recording artists to experience being signed to a recording company as well as enjoying the benefits of international promotion and publicity via television and radio stations, print media and online publicity. Love is also the former Director of Marketing for Eartastic Records as well.

The label and the promotion/publicity firm seek artists who have music that is already mixed and, preferably, mastered but has not, yet, been manufactured. The music is signed for its digital aspect alone, with artists free to also later manufacture these music files to CD for sale after it has been initially released by the label without any financial obligations of CD sales to either company.

In essence, and depending on the number of songs that recording artists can make available to the companies, artists can have multiple music releases in both digital and compact disc formats simultaneously, as opposed to waiting to release such music years later. Naturally, this will serve to dramatically increase the sales and royalties for artists that much more.

More on Brizite:

HOUSTON, Texas – - February 20, 2009 – - Brizite latest foray on the scene consist of a slamming collection of 16 new tracks composed by veteran producers blazing that new or should I said Neo-Dirty S2244outh Sound.

Following up his first CD where he had great success as an artist on Mojamz Records label, he has come full circle with this latest masterpiece of hits for the Eartastic Record Label of Houston, Texas.

Brizite has become quite a brand name in a short period of time and is currently performing throughout South Texas and his hometown of Houston to sellout crowds. And all I can say is one listen to his latest CD and you will know why.

In his own words,

“Real Rap is not about lyrics coming from linguistic cripples. We can keep it real by speaking on extracts and captions with out offending the so-called morale majority (when and if that’s what we want to do). We will however, use whatever artistic and tasteful means necessary to get our message across.”

‘Big Brother’, the lead song from his new CD does just that. Coming from a scrunchee level with girt and grits enough to make you sit and think or get on the dance floor and express yourself to the fullest.

Early reviews of this material were tested through out South Texas, especially Houston and received great acceptance by DJs and club owners alike.

DJ Jagged Rock, a very well known DJ in the area had this to say about Brizite’s new release…

“Man, I don’t know what took you so long but it was worth the wait. I’ll be pumping this every where I go!”

A new wrinkle added to the process was the use of B. Palmer on three tracks of the new release. If you haven’t heard about B. Palmer by now, all I have to say is “where have you been?” And, if you really been away like to Mars, then just wait a few ticks because he is currently in the studio producing a whole array of new artist that are slated for release in 2009 on the Eartastic Record Label.

If you like that Dirty South and/or banging your head to the sounds of “Sweet Gutter Street Music,” then do yourself a favor and pick this release up today! Not later… I said today!
