Sample DSMC's Music Here... With listening to the roster of the new Houston-based record label, Eartastic Records, and particularly with reviews of its newly signed Hip Hop/Rap recording artists, it is obvious that the label is focusing on presenting strong "reality" messages to its listeners. The label's acts' releases are extensively and often supported by spoken word excerpts that support and lend credibility to the songs. "I believe many listeners will agree with the reality that a good portion of the Hip Hop genre and, especially the RAP sector of it has, unfortunately, become lukewarm and even watered down to minimal effectiveness," says Dwayne Michaels, a publicist for Eartastic Records. "For much of it, it appears to be significantly reduced to simply video butts, rides, and money flashing. Eartastic Records is doing its part in returning to the original concept and focus of RAP...its message," says Michaels. DSMC is one of several such acts that the label has released simultaneously in an effort to spearhead and get the message juices of Hip Hop/RAP flowing through modern day music channels. Its debut release is titled "All Day" and comes out punching with 16 strong tracks.
